Saudi Aramco proposes to build new staff homes in South Dhahran under the umbrella of its South Dhahran Home Ownership Program (SDHOP). It consists of 8,521 units to be built over several phases, together with schools and other community facilities, on a 1020 hectare site.

For Increment II, the FAEC scope was to design the primary infrastructure which included roads, site grading, storm and sanitary water, irrigation, potable and fire water networks. The design included the essential irrigation, waste water, potable and fire water pump station buildings to cater for the entire development. The highlight of the project is the storm water network design which is a gravity flow system for the complete site development including Increment I. FAEC undertook this challenge successfully and completed the project design work using Civil 3D and Revit modeling programs.
