SERA provides emergency training in Eastern Region, mainly for SABIC, but also others. SERA expanding its facilities to include security training, with an indoor shooting range, gymnasium and simulation laboratory. This will double the existing capacity for emergency response training, with a 200 seat examination center plus 150 seat cafeteria. The new building has a total built-up area of 12,609 m². The shooting range is located in the basement for safety and to avoid sound propagation to the surrounding area.
PURPOSE:
SABIC intends to build a new building at their existing facility, Jubail-1 Industrial Area to upgrade the fire and security training to comply with the latest international standards.
SCOPE OF WORK:
The project scope includes Concept, Basic and Detailed Engineering with preparation of Procurement and Construction (P&C) and Instructions to Tenderers in SABIC format at detailed engineering stage. Services also included the preparation of specifications, data sheets and all relevant documents to enable P&C contractor to procure, install and construct the facility.
